Day 110 Report

.Day 110 - 13/9/07 - Morgan to 5kms Downstream from Blanchetown

Steve's Report: Late start today due to a presentation to the kids at Morgan. There were only ten kids there because the rest were on a camp or playing tag football. We got an e-mail from them and they think the kayak is COOL.

We finished about 5km downstream of Blanchetown. Lock 1 (at Blanchetown) was the last one. Lock 10 was the first one which was at Wentworth. Another minor milestone is that I have been on the Murray now for over 500km.

A windy start but the wind was
behind me in the beginning
I reckon this view is like about 100 others Lots of holiday places like this today
And some are a bit quirky Some do it in style These guys are probably working up to a house
See, this is 10km further downstream Now some cliffs on the right Like I said, it was windy today
I think I moved Bridge to somewhere Into lock 1
Waiting for the water to drop Water dropping fast And out the bottom side
Oh look, more cliffs. The road where John happens
to be is about 50m from the top of these and he
is looking for somewhere easier to get me out
The clouds looked nasty but the cliff was spectacular The big shadows are from the trees
on the other side of the bank
