Victor Harbour to Sellicks Beach
Steve's Report: Big day today due to impending very ordinary weather. 37km walking over the peninsula then 20km to be within 40km of Glenelg. I missed the camera as the cliffs were spectacular coming up the coast. The sea was really confused so I got thoroughly wet yet again and felt like a cork in a flushing toilet. It improvede a bit when I moved out to sea another couple of hundred metres.
I did discover something interesting this morning. If I tie a paddle to the harness I can sit on the kayak and barrel down the hill and sort of steer. All went well until one idiot of a lady tried to pass on the left. Surely she has seen kayaks careening down hills before. Anyway she seemed to be a bit upset by the whole scene. Silly woman.
Looking to a possible finish Tuesday now.
