Rain!!!!
A
steady
drizzle
all
night
but
not
drought
breaking.
In
the
morning
Steve
and
I
spoke
to
representatives
of
Sun
Water
and
the
Department
of
Natural
Resources
and
Water.
We
came
away
with
a
better
understanding
of
the
way
water
is
managed
in
this
area.
Steve
set
out
on
the
road
beside
the
river
but
after
about
6
kms
blew
a
tyre.
The
satellite
phone
came
to
the
rescue
and
we
were
able
to
take
a
new
wheel
out
to
him.
Unfortunately
the
new
bearings
were
the
wrong
size
so
it
was
back
to
St
George.
A
storm
blew
into
town
and
gave
us
a
good
soaking.
Steve
intends
camping
out
along
the
road
on
his
own
tomorrow
to
check
his
gear
before
we
hit
the
isolated
areas
along
the
Darling.
Steve
